Contact - Book an appointment

Grief is a difficult journey at the best of times and I appreciate when you are grieving, you may not wish to leave the comfort of your house. For this reason, I offer both telephone and Zoom appointments where you can stay in the safety of your home and receive counselling. For those that would prefer face to face appointments, these can also be made in Wilmslow or Chorlton on certain days of the week with advance notice.

When you make contact with me, we will decide on a time and date to have your initial 15 minute consultation. During this initial consultation, it is a time for you to decide if you feel that I am the right therapist for you. Rapport is key with counselling and if you have any hesitation, then please do let me know. I will not take this personally as I believe without rapport and you feeling safe within my counsel, you will not make the progress that you are looking for when you come to counselling. It is also a chance for me to listen to your experience and for me to ascertain if I am qualified to help you successfully. I am bound by the NCS Code of Ethics and the Ethical Framework of the BACP, therefore if I do not believe I am the right person for you, it would go against these ethics.

Appointments will generally be at the same time each week for the duration of the 'package' that you have purchased - these packages can be seen on the Services and Fees page. If you have any reason to change your session time, please consult the Cancellation Policy on the Policies page for details on how to make this change.
